MicroScanner2 Series Tester Features:

A large, easy-to-read display that facilitates work and easily presents measurement results, i.e. connection map test, lengths, cable identification, as well as indication of the location of cable damage.
Test of UTP, FTP, SSTP cabling - RJ45 connector, RJ11/12 connector, cabling based on 75Ω, 50Ω, 93Ω coaxial cables - F connector.
Length measurement (up to 460 m, measurement error of 0.3 m).
Full test of twisted-pair cable connection map, indicating the location of damage (distance to damage).
Detection of the following defects: discontinuity, short circuit, inverted pairs, crossed pairs.
Locating cables and individual cable pairs. MicroScanner operates in tone generator mode (analog or digital) in tandem with the IntelliTone 200 sampler.
Locate cables using remote line identifiers (Identifier Kit #2-7, FL-MS2-IDK27- included in the kit ). The tester recognizes the identifier number plugged into the other end of the track (cable).
Signal detection of Ethernet (10/100/1000 Ethernet, Half/Full duplex transmission mode), POTS and PoE (detection of POE devices according to 802.3af standard).
The meter's durable rubber housing cover provides high resistance to mechanical damage and ensures maximum comfort during operation.

Description

MicroScanner2 makes it possible to check the mechanical parameters of copper-based cabling, and to detect and locate defects. Universal copper cabling tester. MicroScanner2 has a very wide application in network cabling based on multi-pair cables (UTP, FTP, SSTP - RJ45 connector and RJ12/11 connector), coaxial cables (75 Ω, 50 Ω, 93 Ω - F connector) and single cable pairs. It allows quick verification of the correctness of connections, identification and localization of defects and measurement of the length of individual cable sections. With the help of a tone sampler or remote line identifiers, it allows quick localization of individual connections, individual cable pairs as well as allows maintenance staff to find the correct cable termination in the patch cabinet without errors. In addition to analyzing the physical layer of the cabling, it enables detection of Ethernet signals. MicroScanner2 is an excellent tool for cabling installers as well as maintenance personnel responsible for maintaining even network structures.

Test modes:
It measures length, verifies the connection map, identifies remote ID locators and detects Ethernet ports. MicroScanner also displays the message: HIGH Ω when the cable resistance is greater than 12.5 Ω. All results are displayed on a single screen.
